The foundations of the KOSHELEV Corporation were laid at the time when Soviet industrial giants independently built residential complexes for their employees. Large enterprises established their own construction divisions to cater for its necessary construction volumes.
A construction workshop was set up at the Kuibyshev Aviation Plant, which at that time was named after the Voroshilov plant. Construction of socially significant objects became the main focus of the workshop. The construction of the Aircraft manufacturer’s town and the 16th Micro-district in Samara became a noticeable contribution to the city's development. It was then that the key features of the Corporation projects were laid. The construction of the residential areas are built with highly developed infrastructure which distinguishes the projects implemented by KOSHELEV Corporation till today.
The construction division of the aviation plant was transformed into a subsidiary, Design and Industrial Construction Association AVIAKOR.
The association has become an independent enterprise called AVIAKOR Construction Corporation.
The plant for the production of reinforced concrete products AVIAKOR began its activity.
AVIAKOR Corporation developed an universal model of integrated residential areas with highly developed social infrastructure and a well–maintained territory, KOSHELEV-PROJECT, which is a successful example of the implementation of affordable housing for mass consumption.
KOSHELEV-PROJECT’s construction has started in Samara. By the time the project is completed, more than 350 thousand people will live in the new district.
The company was rebranded and renamed KOSHELEV Corporation.
KOSHELEV-PROJECT is successfully implemented in Kaluga. A residential area with highly developed social infrastructure is being built on the right bank of the Oka River. Now more than 460 thousand square meters of housing have been built here.
ROSBANK-VOLGA was bought from the international financial group Societe Generale and renamed KOSHELEV BANK.
KOSHELEV Charity Foundation was founded.
